Everton thrashed 10-men Stoke City 2-1 in the snowy evening to still have a thin chance to qualify for the UEFA Europa League next year. Sam Allardyce’s boys made the life hard for the Stoke City as they constantly pressed hard. Cenk Tosun (69’, 84’) scored a brace to help his team notch maximum three points. Choupo-Moting (77’) scored a consolation goal for the Potters.
The home team started on a higher note as they constituted the game perfectly in the early stage. Charlie Adam fired a shot from outside the box but it lacked precision as it went miles away from the post.
Shaqiri has space inside the right box to unleash a shot, he curled the shot towards the back post, but it is blocked by Micheal Keane.

Stoke City two penalties but only they tried to get back level but both the time they were off-target.
At 77th min, Stoke got it back. Allen’s excellent ball passed to Eric Maxim, he quickly takes the ball under his control and strikes towards the right of the net, and they are now level.
Eric Maxim got injured during that equalizer. After that Jese Rodriguez replaces him.
Everton is defending so well, Stoke City came forward on the counter-attack. They were in 2 vs 1 condition but Walcott miscontrols the pass and they missed that opportunity.
At 84th min, Everton got the lead again with an excellent goal. Its Cent Tosun scored again, diving the ball low with a brilliant header to the bottom of the net beyond Butland.

Stoke missed their last chance at 93+3rd min, Stoke forwards dribbled the ball across the box for a teammate but it’s just behind Crouch and Everton cleared that chance.
