Congratulations, Marcos Rojo.
Manchester United has surprisingly extended Marcos Rojo’s contract until the end of 2020-21season. Marcos Rojo has made only 9 appearances for the Premier League side due to anterior cruciate ligament injury he suffered last year in April. He is sidelined and hasn’t made a single appearance from the start of February and this contract deal has taken media by storm.
Jose Mourinho explained why Manchester United board has handed Marcus an extension despite his injury. He said, “Marcos has gone from strength to strength over the past couple of seasons, and has always shown great professionalism.
“Although his injury has kept him sidelined over these past few weeks, Marcos is working hard to return to full fitness.
“He is always ready to put his body on the line for this club and I am delighted he has signed a new contract.”
