Antoine Griezmann

Atletico’s Star Antoine Griezmann with his great efforts scored all his four goals against Leganes, which helped Atletico in closing the gap as they are four points away from the leaders Barcelona. Barcelona visits Las Palmas on Thursday before hosting Atletico on Sunday.

Antoine Griezmann was considered as the match player of that night as he scored two goals in each half which brought up the score of 4-0 against Leganes, wherein he became the first Atletico player this century to score hat-tricks in his successive league games, and became the player of netting four goals since Radamel Falcao in 2012 and brought up his 100th goal for the club since he joined in 2014.

During the starting of the game Leganes started with a great game against Atletico but unfortunately, they were lacking behind to score. Atletico’s goalkeeper Jan Oblak tipped Gerard Gumbau’s thunderous effort on to the bar before Filipe Luis blocked Gabriel’s follow-up on the line in a frantic opening quarter in which Griezmann struck the woodwork. Antoine Griezmann with his great ability scored his first goal, as he ran so fast after the through ball created Koke’s to finish after 25’ and soon he doubled the score-line by 2-0 after his next set-piece which gets into the net towards the top-right corner and scored Atletico’s 101st goal.
