Milan wants Donnarumma for a “long-time” amid Reina’s talk.
Gianluigi Donnarumma breathed his sigh of relief as Milan’s Sporting Director, Massimiliano Mirabelli said that regardless of the rumours they are going to keep the young 19-years-old custodian in the squad for a long term.
Massimiliano Mirabelli told the reporters that, “Apart from his mistake, he played a great game tonight,”
“We want him to stay with us for a long time. He’s a gem of ours and the whole of Italy, and we’re keeping a tight grip on him.”
Mirabelli said after Milan was crashed out of the UEFA Europa League after been defeated by Arsenal 5-1 on aggregate.
Donnarumma who is considered as a successor to Gianluigi Buffon has been rumoured to be in talks with Real Madrid and Chelsea as Milan are preparing to bring in Lazio’s No. 1 Pepe Reina in their squad this summer.
