Swansea faces Tottenham’s challenge in FA Cup QF.
Swansea City takes on Tottenham Hotspur in the quarter-finals of FA Cup at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday. Swansea will make their first FA Cup quarter-final appearance after 1964 where they were knocked out in the semis. Tottenham Hotspur, on the other hand, has not been able to lift the cup since 1991 and wants to win their all three matches to win the FA Cup.
Swansea will be missing Jordan Ayew as he is suspended for three games after being sent off against Huddersfield last week. Jordan’s brother Andre Ayew and Andy King will also miss the match as they are cup-tied. Wilfried Bony, Leroy Fer, Angel Rangel, and Renato Sanches all are suffering from injuries and their recovery is not seeming possible before the tie.
Tottenham Hotspur would be without their ace forward Harry Kane as he is suffering from ankle ligament damage suffered last week against AFC Bournemouth. Harry Kane would be missing out from the game for next 4 weeks probably. Whereas Tony Alderweireld and Dele Alli will be out due to match fitness and groin injury respectively.
Swansea City’s probable lineup: Fabianski; Naughton; van der Hoorn; Fernandez; Mawson; Olsson; Dyer; Ki; Carroll; Clucas; Abraham.
Tottenham Hotspur’s probable lineup: Vorm; Davies; Vertonghen; Sanchez; Trippier; Dembele; Dier; Eriksen; Lamela; Sissoko; Son.
Swansea City– Southampton (H) To Be Decided
