Matuidi in between desperate Manchester United and reluctant Juventus.

Manchester United is desperate to sign Blaise Matuidi from Juventus, reports Rai Sport. Jose Mourinho wanted to sign the 30-year-old Juventus midfielder when he was the part of PSG side in 2017. On the other hand, Juventus is reluctant to sell the Frenchman and wants him to stay in Old Lady’s club for upcoming seasons.

Jose Mourinho is concerned with the Paul Pogba’s injury. Pogba’s injury keeps the choices of Jose Mourinho limited to Nemanja Matic and Scott McTominay. With Marouane Fellaini’s contract coming to an end this summer and Michael Carrick retiring from the club, Jose Mourinho feels Matuidi can be his trump card.

Manchester United has contacted the France international’s agent, Mino Raiola for the potential move.
